Coronavirus policy - please read

We would like to update our patients on issues surrounding the Novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

There is still much uncertainty around its presenting symptoms but may range from mild-to-moderate illness, including cough, fever and tiredness to pneumonia or severe respiratory infection.

Individuals with ‘possible’ or ‘confirmed’ COVID-19 should not be seen for routine dental care and should be asked to defer their treatment until clinical resolution.

We do ask for the health and safety of all our patients and staff that, even in the event of mild symptoms, you do not attend but contact the practice to decide whether it is more appropriate to delay treatment.

Contacts of a confirmed case should also defer their treatment until their local Health Protection Team has advised otherwise.

If you have a dental emergency, please contact the practice by phone before attending and we will be able to advise whether you should attend or not.

We will continue to maintain our high level of infection control procedures in house and our reception team will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding whether you should attend a dental appointment or delay.

Further information on COVID-19 can be found on NHS Inform. If you have any concerns please contact NHS24 on 111.
